Animated text help!
#2
I do not know of a specific script for that animation, but then I do not do much in that line. There might be some tutorials out there, bound to be pre-gimp 2.10 Perhaps somebody will come up with better information.

Looking at that animation, 99 layers, a lot of layers. The white glow is around the text and is not easy to make on a small image, blurring does not make much in the way of 'reinforcement'. It might have been larger and scaled down.

However, I can give you some tips to help along the way with links to screenshots and useful scripts/plugins. Tip no 1. Work in RGB mode until finally exporting the animation.

Making something obvious so it stands out: https://i.imgur.com/w2NL1Js.jpg
Some white text as a graphic (1) as a separate layer, and blurred (yellow because you can hardly see white) (2) The two layers together (3)

Taking the yellow blurred layer on its own as new image https://i.imgur.com/DUUrRPe.jpg

Added a series of evenly spaced guides, not 99, 20 as an example A useful script for adding multiple Guides https://www.gimp-forum.net/attachment.php?aid=1992
This plugin https://sourceforge.net/projects/gimp-to...p/download (4) will split up the base layer into small layers according to the guide positions (5)

https://i.imgur.com/VB7hH0K.jpg Make a background graphic using the original white text (6) That replaces the base layer on the stack of 'split-up' layers (7)

https://i.imgur.com/2IAgfrK.jpg Yet another script to merge each layer with the background http://chiselapp.com/user/saulgoode/repo...combine-bg (8) Then export the result as an animated gif (9)

All dependshow much time and enthusiasm you are willing to put into your project. (not much in my case Wink )
