Please help! 

I need to import an image from an EPS file without antialiasing so I can achieve better editing results. I want to apply antialiasing afterwards. The thing is that the antialias filter is just too weak (it adds only 1 pixel near the borders!?) and I need a much stronger antialiasing effect (at least 3 pixels). How? I don't think there's an option to choose the intensity of the antialiasing filter. Please don't suggest the following :

1)Any types of blur 
2)Scaling the image back and forth with cubic interpolation. 

We both know they don't have the same effect. I tried Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (useless pieces of software) only to find out they don't offer antialiasing at all! I tried everything. And I made a lot of research but no one seemed to have those same complaints. Is 1 pixel aa enough for you?

I have a question about Gimp 1.10, but the forum section for Gimp 1.10 doesn't show a button for posting a new thread. Could the admin check this out, and let me know what's going on?

Downloaded 2.10.8 GIMP started GIMPTRICKS first lesson - halfway through exercise i was looking for DELETE button
but there is none except EXIT or Close ?  

This exercise (my first) is not finished and not saved, so how to start afresh without bringing back the remnants
that was left in the first trial exercise that shows up even though i clik on  Close or clear history ?

Sorry to waste your time over a nooby question.

I have Samj ver.2 of Gimp 2.10.8.  The script-fu.exe for scrolling long .scm dialog boxes is included in the system plug in file and works.

Apparently it is not included in the regular  2.10 versions.  Many are having trouble using BRL and many other .scm  scripts because of this.

Is there any one or any way to fix the script-fu.exe to work in the regular Gimp.  I had tried using the one from Samj and putting it into the regular versions but it does not work.

Appreciate any help available to solve this problem.

I just downloaded Gimp 2.10 after years of working with Photoshop, Elements and Paint Shop Pro.  Is there a resource that I can read that will point out the primary differences that might keep me from working in Gimp because I am assuming something that is completely different?  So far I have failed miserably with the first task I want to do.  I collect ancient coins.  I want to assemble a single image made from two or more photos of coins - usually just the two sides but sometimes quite a few.  In other programs you can click on images and drag them around the canvas but I have not figured out how to do this on Gimp.  Below is a sample assembled image of one coin on a plain black background.  I know Gimp can do this but I can not.

Every time I stamp down a brush and then select the resize tool it wants me to resize the entire layer. I know I must be doing something wrong but can't figure it out.

These are Photoshop .ABR  brushes. I just simply dragged and dropped them into the GIMP2.0/Brush folder.

Hello, I need some help with finding a plugin/extension for 2.10.
I working through a mapping tutorial, and one of the steps calls for using the Felimage plugin. The tutorial was made for gimp 2.6, but so far I have been able to find everything else except this Felimage.

This is the part of the tutorial I am stuck on:

Hi all,

- Gimp2 version, 2.8.22

As I did in the past, I click on Filters in the top menu then on Script Flu and then on Refresh Scrips. After that script flu appears in the top menu.

Yesterday I found out that it doesn`t appear anymore, I re-installed GIMP2 but that did not fix this issue.

Is this a bug or has something changed from a certain GIMP2 version?

I am trying to make some paint.net layers into gimp layers by importing the layers. The background grey layer is not a problem but when I open another layer and then try to copy a selected green color area from another ( opened as a new gimp image) bmp image, the color isn't green but grey. So if I then use the color pickers on the green image and the paint bucket on the new layer, it still stays grey?

Given that didn't work, I tried with a new image and a base layer which also needed to be grey. Selecting that grey from another image also didn't work!  Sometimes there is a note in history that I have selected the background color when I know I haven't.

In other words, what is easy in paint.net seems very difficult with Gimp. I used it a lot 5 years ago without issues so I don't know why i's an issue now!
