See cloned area in clone tool

Hello, is there an option in GIMP for seeing what I'm cloning (cloned area) when using the Clone Tool, like the way the clone tool in photoshop does?
Doing it without a visual help is too difficult.
Thanks in advance.

Question: Does this forum focus more on photography or free art?

I am a photographer, and am trying to escape from the expensive annual updates for apps which can be used for waterless darkroom work.
No offense is intended, but, I looked at your mission statement, and the above question arose in my addled brain. Free art is great, but if I have a serious question about working digital color or monochrome photography in GIMP, will this be the best venue for an answer?
Thank you

Is there a plugin for this? Tiled preview

So I was watching this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kPpfLmelIs And right at the very beginning you can see he sets up a little preview window that shows what his given selection would look like if it were tiled. I thought this was amazing because it gives him a real-time preview of the changes he makes to his design, where as I have had to make various changes, and then use filters -> Maps -> Tile to generate a preview image of what my selection looks like when it tiles. It's effective, but it is a bit time consuming, and I would love to be able to see those changes real-time without having to run special commands; especially at the very early stages of creating a tile.
Is there any plug-in or way to create such an effect in GIMP? I'd like to keep all my work in GIMP if I could, rather than having to get this iDraw just for one single feature.

Text on cloth

Hi, can anybody tell how to get text to look like it is following the curves of a cloth, as if it was printed on a flag or some clothing for instance?
I tried to do it with the displacement map, but the results were pretty bad.
TIA

Transparent Background

Hey guys,
I have a logo that I am trying to make the background transparent. However, I am struggling because there is a few white/ light colored portions contained in the logo. Every time I use fuzzy select it does not select these parts of the logo and makes it transparent along with the background. I have tried using the lasso tool to touch these sections up, but they are individual sections so I cannot select the whole image at once. Would you suggest making individual layers for these parts and then incorporating them back into the image after I have made the background transparent? Thanks in advance for the help, I am open to any and all suggestions!
Thank you,
A marketing intern
PM me if you need to see the logo to make better sense of what I am trying to accomplish.
