I really need help with this problem.

I have two Paths see attach files, I just cannot get them it be in the center at all, is there a way to get the lined in center.

I am a mid-newbie when it comes to gimp.
I want to make several of the buttons with the instructions from the link above  in various colors , shapes (Rectangles or squares) with different patterns as needed.  I would like to make the button once in some kind of a script so when I wanted a different pattern or color, I could edit the script with colors and/or patterns and it would create a new button for me.  Or am I making the process too simplistic and it can’t be done.
Please,point me in the right direction.  Thanks!

I am trying to edit a label

I failed to find a option to bend the letters in a way that it looks realistic, on this (already) bend label/sticker.

I have tried the filter>distorts>bend-option but this destroys the proportions / height of the letters to badly.

I hope anyone has a good solution

Novice user here.  The paint brush lines used to be fairly smooth with minimal blurring. Now they are sharp & jagged.  I have no clue how to return to the smoother lines.

Any help is appreciated.

Whilst saving a file I worked on the programme crashed and now won't re-open the file saying it is corrupt? Does anyone know how to rescue this situation - 20 hours work on file involved. Can attach file if necessary. Won't open in any other programme either.

Since the latest update, changing the font doesn't work except in English. 
I was able to change it to select a font from Filter at the right sidebar and it doesn't work any longer. 
Hope it will be fixed in the next update.

Hello, I could not find this when answered previously but it might be that my searching skills is not good enough so if this has already been answered in another post please just direct me to that post.

At times I create an image that are to be used over different platforms, ie. Twitter, Instagram, Facebook Post, Facebook Event etc.
All these have different (and ever changing...) size & dimension requirements if you don't want your image to be cut making it look all weird, cutting of some heads at the top, text at ether end etc. etc.
So I was wondering if there was a smart way to make the photo one time and then "transferring/adjusting/scaling" it to different size templates etc. for the different platforms.
Not quite sure if I got my point across but I hope so.

I have make a few coin images, just for fun, but it does not look good, what can I do to improve it.

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or not, but when installing new brushes. For example, flame fire brushes, and I go to use them after installing they are just coming out as black or whatever color I have selected in the color options. However, I can't seem to figure out how to get them to look like flames, if that makes sense?

I tried searching online, but not sure if I'm just not typing it into the search engine correctly or not. But was wondering if anyone could point me in a direction of making a moon effect from scratch? Rather than using a photo... If that makes sense?
