| Installing GAP (4.9.3) Gimp-GAP Gimp 2.10 |

I've never installed a plugin before and the videos I have seen for it all are over 3 years old and do not have the folder layout or explain how to get GAP to work with Gimp. I have searched a bit here and I'm either not typing in the right criteria or not searching hard enough.
GAP is installed but I seem to need to get the folders and files into the GIMP one. Thank you for any help and glad to be here.
I am using:
Windows 7
Gimp 2.10.6
GAP 4.9.3

hi
I have a figure on a white background...
is there any easy way to superimpose that on another pic ?
The only way I know is to use lasoo but it will be a little
difficult as part of the image is a cigarette holder etc.
thanks for any comment or advice

Gimp 2.8, using soft proofing via Color Management in Edit. I set the monitor profile and the ICC values for the printer and paper. The printer I use uses only sRGB. On some of my photos there are quite a bit of out-of-gamut sections. is there a fix for this? I've read that converting to CMYK and then back to sRGB will solve it, but I don't know how to do this in Gimp?
Thanks in advance for any help!

I have a map of Salem, Oregon, and am trying to trace the railroad tracks with a different color. In the map, the tracks are barely legible. Is there a way to pick the color and then globally change the map so that the tracks show up better?
I realize that other parts of the map may be affected. Not an issue, as I'm only focused on the RR tracks themselves. Not an issue, as I'm only focused on the RR tracks themselves.

| Burn tool Glitch with layers |

When I start an image I can use the Dodge/Burn tool as normal. However once I use a layer of any sort, even once I merge all layers the Burn tool now can only give me hard edges.
I can find no way to reset that.
I run it on a Asus windows ten rig.
