Hi, I installed the dev version from Flathub on Ubuntu 22.04. Now I cannot see my 2.10.32 ( also installed through Flathub ). Is it lost? Any way to get it back without removing 2.99?

Hey everyone,

Total novice to gimp or image editing in general. I'm trying to copy/paste an image into another image, and whenever I cut out the image and paste it, it seems to lose its color quality or something, I'm not even sure what it's doing. I'll attach a picture to show what I mean.

If you know what it is I'm doing wrong, I'd really appreciate the input!

The left side of the attached picture is the original quality, and the right side is after I cut/paste on gimp.

I am just writing as I have a batch of approximately 20,000 photos in png format. I would like to make it look like they've all been 1) scanned and then 2) been photographed.
 
Just writing to ask - does anyone know of any automated ways to do this?

I've used Batch GIMP to add different filters e.g. blur or rotation etc. My query is how to make the effects look like like and heterogenous across 20,000 different ECGs

I open a jpeg, sRGB, etc. and the Long Shadow filter is grayed out. Any ideas?

First, I opened my "base" layer (background image).  Second,  I  OPENed AS A LAYER.  Got my "top" image positioned. Added LAYER MASK.  Then  I clicked on ERASER tool > PAINT BRUSH. Selecting the MASK, painting
the area I want to remove (to show background layer beneath). Using the NORMALmade painting. but the MASKED
LAYER has a green bounding box around it. And I can't ERASE  the part of the "top" layer I want to erase. I tried adding an ALPHA CHANNEL. That didn't work.  The ERASE tool isn't working. I'm not sure what I did wrong.  Or didn't 
do properly.   I have GIMP version 2.10 / Windows 10

When I made an image in GIMP I overlayed a paper texture onto my photo making the image look like it's made of paper.
But when I transfered the image to VTF or made it my computer background, the paper texture I added seems to be missing, is there a way to add this texture to the image so it looks like this no matter what, when I put it in VTF or any other software.

The error is: "unbounded variable NORMAL"

Hello all, I'm a new programmer and somewhat experienced GIMP user. After doing some research into Python Fu I was excited to read about this Gimpscripter plug-in. But when I install it, it shows up in the filter bar - I click on it - nothing happens. I can't seem to figure out if I've installed it wrong or if this plug-in doesn't work on 2.10. 

Has anyone here used Gimpscripter on GIMP 2.10? 
Any tips on why the plug-in might show up but the GUI isn't showing up?

I've extracted the Gimpscripter files like this
