Changing caracteristics of a filter per default |

Hi, I use the High pass filter. I wish to change what it proposes per default : Dev Std 7 instead of 4 and contrast 1.1 instead of 1. I suppose it needs to modify "something" but I don't know what neither where.
Thanks for your help
An other question: Using this filter needs several steps. I'd like to have it all with only one click (so a script). But I know absolutly nothing about programing. Could someone help me?
Thanks, Jean Pierre

Problem with file-tiff-save |

Hello Gimp-Users,
i have the problem that a tiff-file saved with a macro with file-tiff-save can't be opened anymore using file-tiff-load. The load fails with: "RuntimeError: Procedure 'file-tiff-load' returned no return values"
The file can however be opened using the Gimp-Ui.
I can recreate this behavior by saving a tiff from the UI with having the checkbox for "Layers" marked.
file-tiff-save has no parameters to modify this.
Do you now what the exact issue is and how can I fix this?
Thanks in advance!

is there any plans for Gimp to set up a plugin set up to make it easier to download plugins that we might want to make it simple for us idiots. Apologise if this has been brought up in the past.

I have search the internet on how to use py script in gimp for windows
1. I did add the script in C:\Users\hqqqq\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\scripts
2. I did run filters\python-fu\conslole
2. Did run print gimp.directory nd gives me this C:\Users\hendr\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10
Now I am not sure on how to rum the script, if I cannot see it.

How to retain page size when importing PDF |

Brand new to GIMP so sorry if this is a stupid question but I couldn't find the answer.
I have a pdf of labels I'm trying to print on stock. If I print directly from Acrobat they fit; the last label starts at about 9.75".
But if I open it in GIMP the last label is about .25 inch too high on the page. So it doesn't seem to be retaining the correct page size when I open it.
It's a standard 8.5 x 11.
I know in Photoshop if I try to do the same thing I have to specify to Crop to Media Box when I import but I don't see a similar option in GIMP.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
